After a cordial split with Plain Pat and Emile, Kid Cudi announced he would go in a new direction with Dot Da Genius that better reflects his vision.
Over the weekend Cleveland rapper and G.O.O.D. Music artist Kid Cudi announced a split from his longtime producers Patrick “Plain Pat” Reynolds and Emile Haynie. Cudi worked with Reynolds and Haynie to form Dream On. The label was distributed through Universal Motown via a partnership with Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music imprint, and it spawned Cudi’s first two albums Man On The Moon: The End Of Day and Man On The Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager. Cudi made the announcement via his Twitter account.
